Inbal Halperin Landsberg

I am a postdoc in the Helix group, which is part of Russ Altman’s lab. The lab is located at the Clark Center, home to the BioX program in Stanford University.

My current research focus is Protein Function Prediction. The research is performed as part of the FEATURE project.

My PhD thesis is on “Improved Docking Schemes Utilizing Biological  Information”. It proposes 3 methods for predicting protein binding sites. Each method is based on a different type of data:

1. Phage display results (SiteLight)

2. Coupling of conserved residues across interfaces

3. Inter-molecular correlated mutations

This thesis was done under the supervision of Prof Ruth Nussinov & Prof Haim Wolfson at the bioinfo3d group in Tel-Aviv University.
